Congratulations to our Republican Candidates that were successful in the Primary Election. Good Job Write-in Candidates!!!!
We are here to assist in Voter Registration. Many New Mexicans are currently registered as DTS or Decline To State. Once registered as a Republican you can vote in Primary Elections to select a Candidate that has filed
to run for a Political Office.
Currently voter registration is by appointment at the SJCRP Headquarters. You may also register at the San Juan County Clerk's office in Aztec, New Mexico.
Please call Pat Cordell (505)258-3394, if no answer leave a message and we will get back to you.
There is a war waged against our Republic and our Traditional values. You may already give to republicans somewhere, which is good. However, the County Party does not get any of those funds. We are asking for just $5 a month. With your generous donation, we can recruit volunteers and republican candidates that will make a difference not only in San Juan County but in the whole state of New Mexico. Help support the great things Trump is doing and lets Turn New Mexico Red!
40 Polling locations reported results. 3 - Write In Candidates, Larry Marker 2,632 votes US Senate, James F. Ellison 2,328 votes State Treasurer, Joshua James Ryan Lawrence 2,341 votes State Auditor. All received sufficient votes to appear on the General Election Ballot in November. Good Job men and Voters! Former Sheriff Ken Christesen got 42.7% in the hotly contested Sheriff's Race. The Voter turnout could certainly have been better. We expect to have more involvement and support for our Candidates during the run up to the General Election in November. The Republican Candidates are going to need volunteers, donations and encouragement to be successful. This is an Election that will be critical to New Mexico and our youth especially. Please don't sit this one out!
